I bought a new ribbon cable and replaced it. Up until a few weeks ago I had fully working Cool scan 4000. Listing is only for what you see in the photos. Being sold AS IS for parts or repair.
I decided to open it up and blow air on the mirror in case there was dust. Unfortunately while doing so I accidentally creased the ribbon cable to focus motor and stress of fold caused that break at. I do my best to post a and photos that accurately describe the items list. When I reassembled the unit accidentally cut one of ribbon cables.
